A quieter way of seeing

My photography begins with observation: waiting, noticing and allowing the character of a subject or place to emerge. Across wildlife, birdlife and the coast, I look for images that hold atmosphere as much as appearance—moments shaped by light, movement, weather and time.

This is a distinct fine-art practice, but it is also part of how I see and work more broadly. The same attention to character, authenticity and what is easily overlooked informs my creative strategy and storytelling. Here, however, the photographs are presented first as works in their own right.
