Positioning & Message Review

A focused strategic review before further content, design or promotion.

For organisations, places and ventures that sense something is not translating clearly but are unsure what should change first.

WHY BEGIN HERE

Find What Is Not Translating

A Positioning & Message Review is useful when something feels unclear but the cause is difficult to identify. The work or offer may be strong, yet the website, story or wider presentation does not express it convincingly.

I assess how your value, audience and central story are communicated, what a prospective visitor, client, partner or supporter is likely to understand, and where clarity or confidence may be lost.

You receive a focused view of what should change first. The review can stand alone or guide a later communication, content or website project. If it reveals deeper questions about the offer, priorities or direction, a Business & Brand Direction Plan may be more useful. No further work is assumed.

What I Review

  • How your offer, audience and purpose are explained

  • Positioning, point of difference and central story

  • How different services, programmes or activities connect

  • The clarity and structure of your current website or materials

  • Written content, visual presentation and overall consistency

  • Gaps between your real value and public understanding

What You Receive

  • A concise written assessment

  • A clear explanation of what is working and what is not

  • Prioritised recommendations rather than a general wish list

  • A practical sequence of next steps

  • Guidance on the appropriate level of further support

  • A sound basis for a brief, proposal or independent action

HOW THE REVIEW WORKS

You share your current website or relevant materials, together with a short explanation of what feels unclear and what you hope to improve.

I review them independently and provide a concise written assessment, followed by a focused conversation about the priorities and next steps. Any further work is agreed separately.
