She lay berthed at rest in the late afternoon storm, her mission accomplished.

The boat had returned late, and the fishermen had their catch of fresh red roman, streepies, and other local fish for the town market. As they drew the boat up, their laughter and echoes of a good day at sea rolled across the small harbour. The buzzing of some buyers arriving as they hauled the boat up the landing told them their catch would be sold quickly. Fish were always sought after here, especially at the local hotel, the only one in town, and the guests were looking forward to the taste of the sea that evening. The echoes of their sounds died as they moved back to their homes, leaving the boat on her rest, reflecting in the last rays of the day as evening took over.
