A lone white heron stood at the water’s edge, still as a ghost, watching.
The world was hushed, wrapped in the soft embrace of morning mist. The lake was a mirror, reflecting its slender form, as if even nature dared not disturb the quiet.
Beyond the veil of fog, shadows moved—silent echoes of kindred spirits. A distant heron stretched its wings, another stood poised, half-dreaming. Their presence was felt more than seen, spectral figures drifting between the waking world and something softer, more ethereal.
