There is nothing more beautiful than seeing the unknown sometimes.
Here, massive ocean undercurrents created large ponds of tumbling sand, providing some unique (if not dramatic) moments to capture such a composition. It was an opportunity that I grabbed, the moment I saw it. I love quirky or three-dimensional perspectives with subject matter like this. For me, it exposed the unknown beneath the surfer, yet highlighted his journey into the seemingly infinite.
As to the surfer, he eventually reached his break further on and caught a great wave.
