Early in the evening, she purred quietly, her eyes softly observing as I swung my lens carefully in her direction.
I was not expecting anything but wanted to capture her eyes in a way that softened the rest of the composition. Luna is our neighbor's cat, and we all love her company. Gentle and patient, she allows for human company when she feels like it. Her dearest moment, of course, like any cat, is her evening stints that fulfill her instinct to explore and hunt. Even in this regard, she is somewhat kind, often bringing the unwilling prey alive and back to her owner. This is Luna's time to shine, or what I like to call Luna's Moon.
