When the sun and dusk or dawn tones meet, the colors of the sea and sky can set incredible tones of pure imagination or create hubris when the sun and dusk or dawn tones meet. The echoes of a soft breeze, the crashing of waves, and squawking seagulls intermeshed with the gentle tones of tidal shifts and soft white sands bring a sense of serenity and calm to the mind.
It is this love of the sea and what it has to offer that attracts so many people to savor its delights and the free spirit of the ride, the wave, or the sheer indulgence of time away from our daily lives. There is no race here, and there is no better outcome when one becomes aware of its presence. It is nature's ally for us to recognise what it holds and what it gives to us.
My love of the sea began as far back as memory serves. The privilege of living near its shores and dropping in on a whim has never left me. I even find getting there a journey of pleasure - to just know the hour or more of raw nature one encounters and can taste in so many ways is around the corner. This composition, although not framed for action or high detail, I hope reflects a sense of serenity the oceans hold for us in the mystery of a much larger world than the land we live on.
