Photography & Place
In the field
Field notes, photographic reflections and short place stories shaped by wildlife, birdlife, coastlines and the quiet details that reward closer attention. Together, they form a continuing record of how place, patience and observation shape my photography.
Still Here
A solitary white rhino in the Greater Kruger, its shortened horns a reminder of the threats it faces. Still Here reflects on the fragile future of these magnificent animals, the struggle to protect them and our growing indifference to the natural world.
Last Patrol
A cool, misty morning in Thornybush, an unfamiliar leopard and a chance encounter along a quiet bush track. A moment of extraordinary stillness, made all the more memorable when the animal was never seen in the area again.
