A COMPLETE FINE ART SET WITH COMMERCIAL RIGHTS
THE STORY
The Nata Series captures were taken at dusk during an early evening in the Kruger National Park.
A leopard had taken a kill up the tree, and the setting was pure African magic. The red, almost fire-orange, crimson dusk, contrasts against the leopard, silhouetting its athletic form against a fading background. The setting created a momentary view of Africa's true beauty and the rawness of its nature. It was both breathtaking and magical as I took the shots in the most challenging of lighting conditions. A short video captures the ambience of the moment.
This series of captures is named the "Nata" series after the meaning of the word in Swahili, "sticky".
